Este festival anunciará el ingreso de Uruguay al circuito internacional de eventos de alta gastronomía como el Aspen Food & Wine Classic, y el South Beach Wine and Food Festival de Miami.
A lo largo de cuatro eventos durante todos los sábados de Noviembre de 2010, algunos de los más renombrados chefs del mundo presentaran sus mejores creaciones culinarias, maridadas con grandes vinos por sommeliers de renombre internacional.
Punta del Este Food & Wine Festival 2010 será una vidriera para posicionar a Punta del Este como destino turístico de alta gastronomía. Asimismo, será la oportunidad para que los productos alimenticios y bebidas seleccionados sean degustados por un conjunto de profesionales de nivel internacional y degustados por representantes de algunos de los medios de prensa especializados más importantes del mundo.
Atención a los nombres de los chefs y sommeliers que estarán presentes en el evento. Francis Mallmann (Garzón, Pueblo Garzón), Ben Ford (de Ford Filling Station, Los Angeles), Paul Liebrandt (Corton, Nueva York), Charlie Arturaola (Master Sommelier, de Miami), Toshio Tomita (Nobu, Nueva York), Mauricio Ganzarolli (Bananeria Restaurante, San Pablo), Hubert O’Farrell (O’Farrell, Manantiales, Punta del Este & Buenos Aires), Douglas Rodriguez (Nuela, New York) y Mara Salles (Tordesilhas, San Pablo). También llegarán Roberta Sudbrack (RS Restaurante, Río de Janeiro), Martín Rebaudino (Oviedo, Buenos Aires), Martín Arrieta (Gran Bar Danzón, Buenos Aires) y Federico Fialayre (Master Sommelier, Tomo I, Buenos Aires).
